I honestly want to get a Wii because of the great games out/coming soon later on next year. The games I'm looking out for are:

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (I've been waiting for this game for at least 2 years T_T)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (hell yehs)
Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn (continuation from the GC Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance)
Mario Strikers: Charged
Bleach Wii: Hakujin Kirameku Rondo
Super Paper Mario (maybe...maybe not)

Aside from it being cheaper than the PS3, I'm willing to take a shot at the Wii. I'm not going to get one right now as I think there's a shortage of the Wii controllers. Maybe the summer or later on, I'm in no rush to get a Wii. But I do like the graphics, gameplay, and the games coming out for the system. ^_^

I read a bunch of reviews at CNET, and to what I have read, I think the WII is the best of the 3 systems. Although Graphics are not the best, but that is only if you have a HD TV with a bunch of High priced stuff anyway, and i do not care about that, I want it for the fun.

Also, one bad thing i didn't like is the batteries wear out quick.

Wii: Interactivity
XBox360: Game variety
PS3: Paperweight

I hope my review of each system helps!

That's what rechargeables are for. It was a good gesture by Nintendo to avoid proprietary battery packs (I think, anyway) so you have freedom of choice so far as battery chemistry, brand, etc. although that sort of excludes the lithium-ion/li-ion poly chemistries unless you include a voltage limiter (li-ion/poly single cell AA-sized runs 3.7v, closer to 4v under no load compared to 1.5v alkaline and 1.2v ni-cad/nimh per cell).

Only game I've played so far was WiiSports. That thing is so much fun, I'm probably getting a Wii later just for that. And SSBB, when it comes out.

I was thinking more of:

PS3 = George Foreman Grill

I got the Wii, and let me tell you, it is GREAT!! I think it is an awesome system. My favorite part of it is the wireless connectivity to the router. :)

I got Zelda and Tony Hawk. They are both awesome games. I like Zelda more though. It is so much fun to swing that controller around. I can not wait for Smash Bros. for Wii

Haha nice, damn you all xD

Well, instead of waiting to get a Wii, checked out Twilight Princess for the GC instead and from the two versions, there were some differences. The one main thing that we both liked on the GC version was that the controls were easier to control then the Wii but the Wii, well, was just more fun playing around with it.

From what I've been told, the Gamestop at Ala Moana has only 20 Wiis come in every week and usually they're all sold within the hour of getting the systems. Hooray for rare commodity!

I heard from Mikey that Brawl has been pushed back again, this time cause they're adding more characters. Dunno if this is true or not, but I hope it'll be worth the wait.

I keep hearing how Wii isn't "hardcore" but at the end of the day gaming is about fun, and the Wii is definitely a lot of fun.
