For those of you that are familiar with SEB, there's no need for explanation. For those of you that aren't... if you're into Electronica, get into it now. High BPM with synthesized melodies make it a good dance type music (dancing to Eurobeat is called ParaPara in Japan).

I'll have to check it out, I need new techno junk. The most I've got on my playlist now is a song from The Hacker and some other dude. Narcotic Thrust probably doesn't count.

Haha, I have addicted yet another person! ^o^

One of our new users, Shininamaru, likes Eurobeat too... he's an Initial D junkie that's why. :D

By the way, those of you with BitTorrent, I uploaded the torrents for SEB volumes 1-161. You're gonna need almost 19GB of space, though. :)

Bura, let's set aside our fight on toast and rice and take Shonen! He got us hooked...but in a good way. I need to ask my friend if she can look out for it in Japan. <.< >.>

Haha, yeah. All started when you sent me Battle Stage.

Although, I did go out and download all that music on my own... after I followed you, you trendsetter.

I don't know if my hard drives will allow it. I only have like 100GB free space. :<

Well Grim, it's a pretty specific scope of style, it's a fast-paced, high-energy style of music, but also has an 80's type feel to it, that may not appeal to everyone. Especially apparent with Dave Rodgers songs, it has a retro feel to it. It's either love or hate, apparently.

^ Same here, once you get used to it you start to not care at all. It's their loss, after all.

I just keep it down when my roommate's in the room, courtesy you know? If he's at class/work or out for the day, I blast it. :D

Haha, that's why you wait til they're not home. :D Or the other option is headphones. :)

SEB163 is due out next month sometime, I think. Other than that, there's gonna be an Initial D Fourth Stage Megamix CD, just like the first two stages. :D Stuff to look forward to.

I have all the Initial D soundtracks out to this date on my hard drives, and also all 162 (so far) SEB albums out... although, we're not supposed to talk about sharing music. Read the TOS. (*coughmsnorpmcough*)

I tried searching for some, and I managed to find a couple of albums. I like it, but not all the songs are for me...

Well, that's good you like some of it. :)

By the way, SEB164 is due out tomorrow. Hope I can find a torrent or something soon, the tracklising looks promising after the somewhat disappointing SEB163/162. :D

Eurobeats are the best thing since sliced bread, hands down.

And before you say anything Shonen, I've always liked Eurobeats. You just filled the void on my HD.

I know. You told me you had some Initial D Eurobeat before I gave you anything.

For those of you that have access to his songs, Brian Ice is an awesome singer. His songs flow similarly to Digital Planet's works, but the synth isn't as sharp. Very nice.

^ PM.

I found out more about Ace (Christian Codenotti)... his name is derived from the Vitamins A, C and E.... he sings for the Eurobeat label SCP (and his own outside band), goes horseback riding, runs a Linux computer at home (heh....) and is a Acoustical Engineer by profession. Cool guy. Teams up with Ennio Zanini (Fastway/Dusty) for the name Go2.

Get this, a song on the radio reminded me of a Eurobeat song, looked the lyrics and I found this: "tixiana - every time we touch (xtd mix) Eurodance Channel. ... Parts of this sounds like Cascada's "Everytime We Touch"." Found that on google looking up the lyrics. If you want, here it is:

Cascada - Everytime we touch

Verse 1:
I still hear your voice when you sleep next to me
I still feel your touch in my dream
Forgive me my weakness but I donít know why
Without you itís hard to survive

Chorus:
'Cause every time we touch,
I get this feeling,
And every time we kiss,
I swear I could fly,
Can't you feel my heart beat fast,
I want this to last,
Need you by my side.

'Cause every time we touch,
I feel this static,
And every time we kiss,
I reach for the sky,
Can't you hear my heart beat slow,
I can't let you go,
Want you in my life.

(music)

Verse 2:
Your arms are my castle
Your heart is my sky
They wipe away tears that I cry
The good and the bad times
Weíve been through them all
You make me rise when I fall

Chorus:
'Cause every time we touch,
I get this feeling,
And every time we kiss,
I swear I could fly,
Can't you feel my heart beat fast,
I want this to last,
Need you by my side.

'Cause every time we touch,
I feel this static,
And every time we kiss,
I reach for the sky,
Can't you hear my heart beat slow,
I can't let you go,
Want you in my life.

(music)

'Cause every time we touch,
I get this feeling,
And every time we kiss,
I swear I could fly,
Can't you feel my heart beat fast,
I want this to last,
Need you by my side.

^ Hm, I gotta check that one out.

Also, here's a site where there's a TON of Eurobeat available for download through Megaupload/Rapidshare, hope you make good use of it:
