Yeah, I play. This season my pennant team wants to train at 7am... I forget which day, but it's going to be annoying. On the bright side, I'm playing alright and very occasionally win some of my games.

I play, but not nearly as much as I used to. Back in high school, the normal for me was (off season) 4 times a week or (during season) 6 to 7 times a week. ^^;; Now, I barely get to play once a week, and I don't think I'm in the top performance bracket anymore, but my priorities have changed since high school. I still enjoy playing though.

Well its the winter up here and so it is very cold so i haven't played in three weeks and that is not making me happy

My tennis team will start playing in March and we should be able to make it to the state tournament this year we missed out last year after starting out 5-3 we ended up 6-10 and you need to win 8 so anyways last year I only played half the time me being a freshman this year I am going to be on 1st doubles so I'll be playing every day uggg and practice everyday especially on fridays I hate practices on fridays

Wow this is my longest post ever lol

I thought you just loved her? :P j/k.

The last time I played tennis my arm was hurting for a week afterwards; spooty painful non-contact sports.

Haha, of course. Then again, you're not one to talk THIRD DOUBLES. ;)

But that was a bummer. We lost to those mofos twice. :( Oh well, second place in BIIFs wasn't bad. ;D

What's BIIFs?

Lost another game this friday it's annoying to play bad when you know how good you can play some days :(
We both had a great serve almost all games were like 40-0 it's annoying and since I didn't play my best game I had troubles with the rebounce and it's hard to beat someone then. I had some oppertunites to break his serve but I didn't take them he did, unfortunalty and the match ended 6-1 , 6-4 after a really weak first set when my serve didn't work to a decent secound set :(

BIIF stands for Big Island Interscholastic Federation, in other words, our high school tennis interscholastic sports circuit. We play against other schools, and all that. There's requirements for qualifying for the BIIF tournament (we call it BIIFs), but I'll explain that only if you really want to hear about it. So, in short, BIIFs is the tournament of the high school schools at the end of the season.

Now, I only get to play with the same person... I'm thankful I have someone to play with, but it's getting old pretty fast. I need to play against a variety of styles...

That's sad...

My doctor said that I shouldn't play for a while although I know it wont help so I play like nothing is wrong but it's a difference since my pain is in the wrist not in the chest.

That can't be too healthy Shin... you should rest it from time to time if you don't want to injure yourself. ^^;;

Woot! We can be twins now Shin! :D

Babolat racquets are just awesome. Head racquets have an unbeatable stability when the ball hits the sweet spot though.

Do you only play twice a week o.O;; I now play 5 times a week and I lift some weights at tuesdays (to prevent injuries).

I dunno what stick I'll buy since I don't know really how I want to develop. If I buy a strenght stick I will have some trouble with stability but you can learn that and dif I buy a stick with a lot of stability I'll trouble with speed and one can learn that too XD

I play rather good at the moment though since I got a new protective gear on my wrist that's still busted up (gonna have a magnetic x-ray the 1th december). Luckly it's not the left wrist so I can play good from the serve and net have some troubles at the basline though ^^;;

Yeah. The courts up here have stupid hours. Monday and Wednesday (when we play) it's open from 6:30pm to 9:45pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays it's open from 11:30am to 1:30pm (I have class...) and it's closed the rest of the week. :(

Yeah, keeping your serve up is important. I think that's the only area where I haven't suffered, performance-wise.
