I was just curious, as I remember back in the winter we had a dispute over what exactly these things were called. You know, the boxy white things with USPS and an eagle on the side that get you your mail six days a week? The most accepted term in Hilo that I know of is 'mail truck', even though it's technically not a truck?

What do you guys call em? I call em mail trucks, even though they're not really trucks. I think they're more like delivery bins on wheels that have their driver sit on the wrong side. They may look dorky and oldfashioned, but they're pretty cool. Especially when you're driving back home from airport and you see one of them returning to the Post Office at 80mph. XD

But anyway, talk about the Mail ____s here, and perhaps any experiences good or bad you've had with USPS in the past.
