Double post and semi-necromancy! More gheytube vids I found:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=k3AyKsLMBs4
Rainbow Flyer full combo with all Greats...this is an old song, but it's played in the Gold arcade machine.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=jGQkitSGWhY
and speaking of IIDX Gold, here's one of the better songs, Kamaitachi, getting a full combo clear as well

I've also been playing IIDX with Kakashi (the DC member, although he's not around anymore) and he's making pretty good progress. We're normal vs passing level 4's now.

I think I can play level 4's.

Oh btw, I'll need a few copies of the other IIDX's to play when I get the controller in if you don't mind.

I wish I could rule IIDX but I think the game is too asian for me to play..... so I won't be good. =D It's a cool game though, I just can't play it because my swap disc doesn't work XD

*Edit - Now you must AAA Mei, =D IKEEEEEEE

haha I'll try and record the playback; I used the only good feature in BMUS which is the play recording...although it won't be a true tatsujin video since there's no video on my key work. :P we'll see haha

AAA is harder in DDR than IIDX I think, since legs are harder to precisely control than fingers, especially at the higher level songs. Highest grade I got in Stepmania with the mat was an A lol. I only got one AAA ever in IIDX (the real ones), which was on Attack the Music by DJ FX (level 1 XD) and that took about 20 tries of agonizing timing.

Yeah... well..... IIDX seems really hard to get timing too, it's rediculious how all I mostly get is cools and goods and almost never greats XD it sucks, haha. Yes you must video record that shiz...... just don't put them on my computer or else it won't go anywhere, lmao.

haha instead of recording it right now, I decided to share all my custom Expert courses, to see if you wanna try to pass them with a similar score.

. : IIDX12 HAPPY SKY : .

Name: DRUMS
Song1: DAWN -THE NEXT ENDEAVOUR-
Song2: PATRIOTISM
Song3: 冥
Song4: Electro Tuned (the SubS mix)
Song5: Holic
Score: 3582
This one is based on a genre/feel that I like very much, Drum n'Bass. The songs that aren't specifically in that genre put a lot of emphasis on the drums (particularly Holic), so I thought they'd fit.

Name: HOUSE
Song1: MOON RACE
Song2: Skyscraper
Song3: SWEET LAB
Song4: Blueberry Stream
Song5: Reflection Into the EDEN
Score: 2609
These songs are from all ends of the House umbrella genre, which is a nice style to listen to when you're feeling in the mood for just kicking back and relaxing. It's a shame that there isn't more good-cool in Happy Sky, as he is the Bemani House specialist.

Name: TRANCE
Song1: L'amour et la liberté
Song2: Under the Sky
Song3: 風の谷のDREAM
Song4: INAZUMA
Song5: sync
Score: 3551
Another genre I like very much, this is a sort of sampler course with different trance artists (Taka appears twice cause he's that awesome).

Name: HAPPY
Song1: POODLE
Song2: SigSig
Song3: LESSON 5
Song4: in the Sky
Song5: One More Lovely
Score: 3826
Yeah yeah, I don't put very much thought into my course names...but anyway, this is a sort of alternate HAPPYSKY course, all of these songs are uplifting and put a smile on your face.

Name: VOCALS
Song1: ラクエン
Song2: Recollection
Song3: EMPTY OF THE SKY
Song4: I am
Song5: DAWN -THE NEXT ENDEAVOUR-
Score: 3590
A course with a selection of the songs with vocals...I tried on purpose to include some less popular (but still good) songs in the mix, so people aren't just playing a shuffle of another course already there.

. : IIDX13 DistorteD : .

Name: STYLES
Song1: 321 STARS
Song2: quasar
Song3: AA
Song4: 冥
Song5: tripping contact
Score: 3761
Pretty much a chronological trip through the Bemani legacy, starting way back before IIDX was developed, and culminating in the final iteration (so far).

Name: TAQ
Song1: era (nostalmix)
Song2: Digital MinD (A/T Libra mix)
Song3: Karma
Song4: Schlagwerk
Song5: quasar
Score: 3572
A selection from the master of German-influenced OngaQ himself, this is the very essence of beat-driven music that's good fun to play. In Normal difficulty, Schlagwerk is a sort of cool-down/rest from Karma, but at higher difficulties it tests your endurance :P

Name: HISPEED
Song1: Go Beyond!!
Song2: eRAseRmOToRpHAntOM
Song3: 桜
Song4: waxing and wanding
Song5: DUE TOMORROW
Score: 3739
I think I was just bored, so I threw together the highest BPM songs in DistorteD. XD;;;

Name: OMGFAIRY
Song1: So Fabulous !!
Song2: Back Into The Light
Song3: D.C.fish
Song4: waxing and wanding
Song5: Go Beyond!!
Score: 3996
Title says it all

Name: PSYACTIV
Song1: Harmony and Lovely
Song2: OUTER LIMITS
Song3: SOLID STATE SQUAD
Song4: TYPE MARS(G-Style Mix)
Song5: era (nostalmix)
Score: 3452
This is a sort of mix between psychadelic and hardcore styles, I like it a lot.

Name: STAIRS
Song1: Concerto in Blue
Song2: 華蝶風雪
Song3: ALFARSHEAR ~双神威に廻る夢~
Song4: 冥
Song5: CONTRACT
Score: 3688
Play this if you need to work on your sequential stream note patterns. These songs like to throw staircases at you, particularly Concerto and Contract.

ps. No AAA on Mei yet, but I almost (-1) FC's the Normal difficulty one. Also, -2 away from FCing Sync on Normal, -2 away on Twelfth Style on Normal, and -1 on that joke song Ore wa Beatmania! Omae wa Nanmania? on Normal.

pps. Try check the timing with your TV, I'm not sure about BMUS but I know that the original IIDX styles have a timing offset in the Options menu. It should make it easier to get PGreats if it's synced properly.

edit: I attached a screenshot of my Happy Sky stats, I'll take one of my DistorteD stats later.

lol yeah, there's a lot of those 'wtf kine is dat' genre listings, some of the more amusing including

Nostalish Requiem
Futurelist Type
Hard Renaissance
和式電子音楽 ('washikidenshiongaku')
Esoteric Slowcore
and more...these are only a few of the ones from DistorteD alone lol

I guess they like making their songs feel uber epic?

Edit: new high scores of 3723 on my TAQ course, 3835 on HISPEED, 3668 on PSYACTIV (on DistorteD)... and a new course (I deleted STYLES lol)

Name: 4CTAKA
Song1: Bloody Tears (IIDX EDITION)
Song2: SPRING RAIN(LLUVIA DE PRIMAVERA)
Song3: WISH (EUROBEAT MIX)
Song4: quell -the seventh slave-
Song5: CONTRACT
Score: 4025
This, if you didn't already guess, is DJ YOSHITAKA in all his CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR DJ cross-genre work for DistorteD. All of these were introduced in IIDX13, which is amazing considering that he also did all the system sounds too, including the bgm for the style.

IT'S HERE IT'S HERE, IIDX GOOOOOOOOOOOOLD AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER

Release date is set at May 30th. T_T so far away...

beatmania IIDX14: IIDX GOLD
Just the game by itself

beatmania IIDX14: IIDX GOLD [Konamistyle Special Edition]
Comes with the game, beatnation summit DVD (so that's where it went, goddammit Konami), IIDX GOLD special edition poster and box.

beatmania IIDX14: IIDX GOLD Konamistyle Special Edition Complete
Comes with everything in the KSE but with L.E.D.'s FIRST ALBUM and a Maya Takamura Puzzle. Also, I think the KSEC special edition box might be different from the KSE special edition box, but it didn't say much. You know I'm getting this one even if it's a little over $200.
