It's a doujin game based on Guilty Gear I think, Vipah can tell you more about it than I can. I'm pretty sure it's for PS2, although Act Cadenza has an arcade version.

Fine, I'll help, BUT ONLY BECAUSE I LOVE KOHAKU SO MUCH.

Wikipedia explanation:
    Melty Blood (メルティブラッド, Meruti Buraddo) is an immensely popular doujin 2D fighting game for the PC, created by TYPE-MOON and French-Bread (known as Watanabe Seisakujo prior to 2003), acting as a side story to TYPE-MOON's visual novel game Tsukihime taking place a year after the events in the "happy" alternative ending to Arcueid's path, where she remains alive. It is widely considered to be one of the best doujin 2D fighting games ever made, on par with the best professionally made 2D fighting games like the Guilty Gear and Street Fighter series. It has been adapted into a manga series, authored by Takeru Kirishima and serialized in the CompAce magazine, that has been published since June 2005.

    Melty Blood was originally released in December 2002 as a PC doujin fighting game in association with Watanabe Seisakujo, 2 years later, in May 2004 an expansion for the game was released, Melty Blood Re-ACT. The expansion added several new characters and fixed gameplay balance issues. Finally, Melty Blood ReACT Final Tuned,an update patch to Melty Blood ReACT,was released as a free download. This patch was specifically designed to allow the game to be configured to resemble the gameplay of Melty Blood: Act Cadenza.
My further explanation:
    No other fighting game I've seen allows players to juggle their opponents this long. The absolute longest combo I've ever seen with my own two eyes was 46 hits, and it consisted of a player using Hisui and continuously juggling his opponent in the air with her feather duster move. The only reason he stopped is because his opponent reached over and slapped the back of his head. As of right now, Melty Blood: Act Cadenza, the arcade and PS2 version of the game, is the absolute most popular fighting game in Japan, and it's really picking up in America, partially due in fact to the previous games, as well as the anime Lunar Legend Tsukihime, which is based off the visual novel H-game Tsukihime, minus the porn.

    Every character has their own specialties, and while some characters may seem slow to some, others may be able to turn them into the quickest and most painful character in the game. I can go more into specifics about the game, the characters and their biographies, but I'm too tired for that. All you really need to know is that the game is awesome, and you should download it.

Yumizuka Satsuki, you mean.

I pretty much addicted gba to this game in a matter of two days... we should all trade IP's for those with the PC version so we can net battle each other. : >

Actually, it's really weird. You're most likely right, but for some reason, it can be translated to Yumiduka as well.

No, it's the exact same. The Japanese tend to be lazy and use the lazy way of Romanizing the names. The 'zu' character can either be the さ-column version ず, or the た-column づ. Both are pronounced the same way, except one is an exception in its respective column. Because づ is in the た-column, it can be written either 'zu' or 'du', because it can go either way. Proper pronunciation is easier to infer with 'zu', for obvious reasons, though. Listen to how the announcer pronounces her name in the game, and you'll see what I mean.

Just like how there's no 'tu' or 'si' in Japanese, yet you can find Romanizations of names using them here and there.

Juggling is insane in this game. Funny thing is...Kohaku is low tier (lol wtf?) so is Ren/Len. Everyone's strong point is their air combos which utilize jump canceling but the problem is, kohaku's 5C hits em downwards so you cant land the usual 5B-5C-jump cancel-5B-5C like everyone else because the combo ends after the first 5C. Plus she has little to NO launching moves. But still....i just dont like the....plants...and Mr.Chin....I hate Mr. Chin... <_<;;

The funny thing is, though, that I've beaten seasoned players from Japan with Kohaku at Hawaiian Brian's.

It's fun to look at them when they're all, "WTF, A WEEABOO FAGGOT BEAT ME?!"

gba, Vipah's Kohaku can get more irritating than your Nanaya. That's saying something, especially cause the only thing you do is spam the same aerial combo.

I changed the title of the topic to just 'Melty Blood' since this seems to be going more towards the way of MB general discussion since Zetsu's question has been answered. : >

Len=Juggle rape lol. 5b-5c (cancel after 2nd hit)-2b-jump-5c-j.c.-5c-airdash-airthrow. The basic of all basic combos with Len. Or anyone actually, its just really easy with her. All must love the 214C... Neco Arc is just too awesome of a boss character >:D.

for the ps2 config, Square=A, X=B, Circle=C, Triangle=D. and the directions i use go by the numpad way (the number is where the joystick should be such as 2=Down, 6=Foward).
