Well, this is the cars thread. I know Kakashi and Shin will be probably the only other ones populating here for now... but that's ok. Favorite cars, what's new, all that... anything automotive that isn't Initial D or Forza goes in here.

^ What? not FD? It may be half the size of the Skyline, but Cappuccinos can't get 900HP. XD

Anyway, Skylines are all right... the R34 is the nicest one, the G35 just doesn't cut it. My uncle has one, and it's a nice car, but it doesn't belong in the Skyline family. :(

I love the RX-7 family, the newer WRX's and anything expensive... NSX, Enzo, Koenigseggs...

yup...max for a cappucino is about...400hp...lame but its fun to drive im guessing...

Yes WRX's (newer ones) are nice...the old ones were ok...nice wheels on them (copperish)

I hate almost all Front wheel drives...exceptions are ITR and EK...

^ That's huge if you consider how small the engine is. Then again, all Ferraris come with almost 500 stock. The Enzo comes with 650hp stock, which is very nice (you get only 8mpg though.. lmao).

DC2 Integra R is nice, and so's the EK... but liek yu forgotted da Focus ZX4!! XD

The big trucks and huge suvs are getting a bit too much since the cost of gas is so high now.

Favorite car...hehehehehe that would be the Nissan Z350 (Concept?) with a blue color..yes nice electric blue color...X) One reason why I like it? I first saw one when it freaked my brother out with it's speed. w00t!

^ This one? The new Z's are nice, yet they aren't as sexy as other sports cars... like the FD, Enzo, DC2 and maybe the Silvia series. It sorta fits in between 'sexy' and 'formidable' (R34 Skyline, S2000, STi, etc), for me anyway.

dayum 500 stocks a lot..vipers come with like...445 hp? (i tink gba behind me is like " piece of shit it only has 445 life?")

^ R33 was poo compared to the R32 and the R34 in terms of performance. Too heavy, de-tuned, etc. It was more of a luxury car, so I'm guessing you like it just for that reason...

There's a nice RX-8 in that blue at campus over here... there's always some chick sleeping in it. <_<

^ Nope, 3000 miles away. That was at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2003.

...and I don't know who that is. ^^;; 240's are junky, Silvias are better, and the WRX better be an STi. XD Jetta... :\

Kakashi is gonna hate me for posting this, but I think this is awesome.

i hate you sho for that rx8 pic. but i love the FD and FC, i like FD more tho. by the way that white fc in our school belongs to a girl named simone, she was in my math class. yea i love the fd! its the bomb! there are actually four realistically priced cars i want. 93 FD, AE86, 04 WRX STi, and Scion XB(it would be m4 rollin boombox :]) note that the skyline is not in there because its not realistically priced. as for ff's i no like them that much but i do like the 99 civic hatchback. (hey sho, 240sx are pretty kickin!) but yea i also agree with sho on the whole r33 thing because ya performance wise it blows compared to the r32 and r34. but those cars are not really that interesting to me cuzz they no good for drifting and street, mainly only drag.

Skyline R34's run around $70k or something yeah? Something rediculously high.

^ EK's are awesome. :D ...and 240SX's are all right, real Silvias are better though. :3

Most AWD are too powerful for street use when they're tuned up, better for rally or as you said drags.

Funniest thing ever.... some guy with an FD in Montana goes to fill up his tank at the gas station, and a redneck in a truck is right in front of him. The redneck asks the guy why his Corvette sounded like a lawnmower. XD So much for his knowledge of a rotary.

OMFG thats sooo funny!! redneck goes "hay wha's yuur corveytte saund like ah lawn mower?" heheh o' righ' redneck diologue(spelling??)

yes yes AWD's are too powerful for street and good for rallies but the R32-34 series might be kinda heavy for rallies but you guys will have to tell me about that...

btw...we have a Scion xB... .'w'. its craxy the muffler it comes with sounds good when you rev it...is it a FF car??

Probably, all economy cars nowadays are FF. And you don't rev economy cars, Shin. That defeats the purpose. :P

The Skylines are very heavy, almost 2 tons. That's why the R32 had such a problem with understeer. Imprezas and Lancers are usually the first to come to mind when you say 'WRC'.

Well, the huge wing compliments the hood scoop nicely I think.

Speaking of hood scoops, a lot of Subaru's have them nowadays, even the wagons. :P

I found something interesting for those of you into mechanics... it's on an LSD, an impossible-looking design for something that's necessary for AWD/racing/off-road vehicles.

http://members.rennl...S84Gleason.html

It's called a Gleason-Torsen differential, a limited-slip differential that looks impossible, but works. Took me half an hour to figure out how it worked. ^^;;

...and... I would KILL to see this in my car:

The owner of this RX-7 basically has a 26B-REW (twin 13B-RE's) under the hood.... >_<;;;;;;;; ph33r....

^ wow~ o.o engine looks..wow.

This is probably off...has anyone heard about the 1968 (or '69) car that was stolen from NY? Turned up in California in a box. What's more, it's silver. A silver corvette. o.o They say it doesn't run (aw..v.v) but who would want to sell that? It's silver and a corvette...silver corvette. XD

Speaking of rotaries, look at this dumbass....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-Mazda-RX...1QQcmdZViewItem

Read the item description. That makes me want to kill the owner.

Seriously, what kind of IDIOT drives an RX-7 off a PIER? What the hell's a sports car doing at a pier in the first place? >_<!!

That's just dumb. The question that I want to ask is, why was it down there for a month? Couldn't they raise it out earlier?

Anyway, let's play the guess-the-engine game!
