So since my Zen went heavy paper weight status on me, I took the plunge for a new mp3 player. After looking around for quite sometime, I settled on the Samsung YP-P2. Despite rave reviews on this item, here are my thoughts.

Sound:
-Quality is unlike that of any player I have ever heard. Sorry zen.
-New feature called DNSe. It allows for very tweakable sound patterns. Ranging from concert, to studio, custom, and more.

Interface:
-Touch screen that is easy to navigate, easily customized, and in my experience has not lagged ever.
-Playback has visualizations like windows media player has. (just an example)

Bluetooth:
-This player can act as a wireless headset just pair it to you telephone and you can even call from it!
-Streaming medai, transfer data, files, music, all via bluetooth.
(these features amazed me)

Video:
-Video is supported but you have to convert it via their software. video then plays in a landscape mode at great quality.

ONLY downside so far is that it is not a mini usb to usb its a weird connector to regular usb.

that is all for now update as time goes on.

UPDATE!

I heart Samsung!

Reason being. Free firmware updates as well as you can download certain apps and improved sound programs.

All of this so very easy, the only con I see so far is that converting video to the speicified format requires a converter. ( i do not have) :(
