Seeing as I now have a new 7200rpm hdd in hand to swap out this rediculous 5400rpm unit, I want to mod my Sager laptop now that it's finally out of warranty. I was thinking of changing the LED's on the side to a different color, and redoing the thermal paste on the cpu/gpu. It's also gonna get a good cleaning, I want to spend a whole day and thoroughly rip it apart and make it like it's brand new.

Any suggestions on the colors? I don't think I want to paint it as the color scheme is already pretty nice.

well the case itself is silver and black, all the LED's are the default green. I can't do anything about the power/charging lights tho cause that's integrated in the screen inverter.

yeah, maybe blue or white. I really wish they made a softer blue color though.
