Come here and bitch, moan, whine, whinge, complain or... praise? your school. Compare it to others, laugh at the people who spend more time at it than you (unless it's me your laughing at in which case I busta cap uppa yo ass), compare teachers. Do whatever! Just talk about it people!

I don't like my school and my school doesn't like me. We get along fine.

My school's pretty good, actually. Now, the classes, that's the bitch.

ENG100 - Composition I (Write, write, write, proofread, and write)
EE160 - Programming for Engineers (Program in C... would be interesting if our professor was better)
MATH241 - Calculus I (Do inconceivable math concepts over and over... once I start to understand something, it's time for the next chapter)
CHEM151 - General Chemistry (sleep in class, ace exams)

So far so good, just... not Calculus or EE160.

Power Point Class - A That class can be tedious because people are slow to keep up but easy, fun class
Chemistry - B- The teacher could learn more since this guy hasn't been in chemistry himself since college. Oh well, the class gives him a break
AP Literature - A Oh yeah~ Presentation tomorrow...darn
Government - B Class is awesome, now if the workload was a bit lighter...

My favourite class is Design and Multimedia. 1 hour and a half listening to music on the comp via headphones, messing around on the net and in graphics programs, talking to friends and generally having fun. Plus our teacher's cool, she helps, she lets us chat and she changed our assignment this term because we didn't want to learn how to network.

My favorite class is destop publishing/web page design... and you can never forget lunch, even though i don't really have a sceduled lunch. But anyway, unfortunately I don't get that class today. It is my drop day for that class. You use photoshop and you just fiddle around with the program to complete the projects that the teacher assigns. We learn basic html, too easy since I already know some before the class, and we make graphics. I lovies to make bubble. XD

I wish I could fool around on Photoshop in class. My easiest class is math lab, which is basically an ask-the-TA-anything-you-want class. ^^;; We get to go on the computers too, cause actually that's where I'm posting this. :D

So do I, but my school's to cheap to install Photoshop in the room my class is in as well as the one next door. Bastards... leave me with only paint will they?

Haha, there's like two computers in the whole lab back in Waiakea that have Photoshop. Unfortunately, it's version 5.0, and it's installed on probably the two slowest ass computers ever. It takes nearly the whole first recess to start up.

I tried putting Photoshop on my flash drive, but the suckin' software modifies the registry when it does that, and student accounts don't have admin access. ^.^;;

Some of the lab computers have Paint Shop Pro, though. Although I don't know how great it is, it must have a bit more functionality than mspaint.

Dang I wish I had photoshop...unfortuantely the art teacher at my school is too stingy, I heard rumors that it was version Photoshop 9.0 or something.

School is almost coming to a close...that is first quarter is. Tests are next week and the like and then report cards. DX

I probably don't work half as much as I should, but I do pretty well. Making the most of Year 10 and its easiness relative to the next two years. I miss taking Art as a subject... a lot, actually. I do Industrial Art instead but it's not quite the same thing.

I don't miss art one bit, too much writing and new-age-art babble that doesn't really mean anything.

Personally I barely try at all, a few experiments with trying have proven that it makes my marks worse so spoot to that route. I'm happy with getting As and Bs via some miracle.

Haha, lucky you. I'm gonna need a miracle in some of my classes in order to get A's or B's. -__-;;

well, i look at it this way: working hard now means less work than usual in college! i might even get the credits to drop some classes because i'll already have the credits i need. XD yay. i rule. but yeah, my parents make me be in the top 10% of the school, but whatever... i dun care... they know i've been really stressed... beyond that, i'm cool. ^^

Most of the time my parents don't see my marks ^_^. Not until they see my report and can make a rough estimate :P

My parents only see my reports most of the time. My parents don't really expect anything from me.

I'm paying attention in Calculus now! I sort of get the material! w00t!

But I'm still lost. And I have to pass the Gateway Exam in order to pass the class. :(

and EE160 sucks my life and sanity away every moment I'm in that class.

Same here Ikine but my grades are rather good don't know why though :lol: . I have A or B's in all subjects, mostly D's though but A's in a ll math subjects :D

I don't find school that stressing though, sure it can mess up my tennis game with a huge test in the morning but nothing more.

if you added 'makes me want to sleep' into that sentence you could've described my maths class.

I think I do go sort of insane there, the girl I have to sit next to not only makes me sit up the front because she forgets to wear her glasses, but also forgets to bring her calculator, mathsbook and stencil so she's continually borrowing mine. Thus, I can only do one problem at a time and waiting isn't my speciality.
